My good friends Dennis Rolland and Andre Landeros Michel mentioned over supper the last time I was in NY that they had just won a commission to Design a suite at the famous Ice Hotel in Sweden. Please look at these fabulous videos about the creation of Gotham on Ice.

Below is a picture of a double breasted jacket chalked onto the fabric for cutting.

This particular client has had this style before which he loved, hence having another one made identical.

Double breasted with 4" lapel , flaps 2 3/8 deep angled , side vents 11" and with a bishops cuff. The trousers are flat front with a boot leg , plain btm 20" , which all really works well together and the clients shape ( slim & slender )

The fabric is a petrol blue with lilac stripe super 100's from scabal.

The bishops cuff.

Notice the longer right sleeve caused by the clients drop shoulder.

As you can see from the picture below I have cut the suit all one way ( every part of the garment going the same direction on the fabric ) some tailors save money on the cloth by cutting the garment up and down, only problem with that is you can get a subtle shade difference.

Below is a corduroy jacket ready to be tried on, this is a forward fitting everything is almost completed
