Wearing Navy double breasted cashmere wool blazer, I decided to cut this jacket on the bias to create more drape. Style double breasted, fly front, patch pockets, no vents, mother pearl buttons.
This clients first bespoke suit finished and ready to enjoy. Cut in a beautiful shade of Navy from Lessers 11/12oz worsted range. Style single breasted, one button, notch lapel, single vent, four button cuff and angled flaps. Trousers flat front, cross pocket, strap&buckle, plain btms, cut very slim with a slight boot leg.

A new commission for a dinner suit, sketch below to give my client an idea of how it could look. Style single breasted, shawl collar and straight jetted pockets in satin facings, no vents.
The Courage to Wear Hats This winter I decided to take the plunge and visited Bates in Jermyn street, with there help I chose an Old Burlington in navy and have enjoyed wearing it very much through this winter and fancy a black Homburg next time. Sad to hear though that they have had to move from there shop due to redevelopment of the building. Another lovely old style of shop lost forever a few pictures below. The story of the cat is that one day it wandered in and became the shop cat and was loved by all. Upon its death of old age the chaps at Bates decided that he deserved a place in the shop !
